HOLLOMET CELEBRATES THE INAUGURATION OF ITS NEW LOCATION IN A FORMER SHIPYARD

On 13 October 2022, hollomet GmbH celebrated the inauguration of its new location on the historic former shipyard site in Dresden-Laubegast. hollomet is part of the globally operating Glatt Group, which has invested significantly into our start-up.

We had the pleasure to welcome our most important customers, representatives from the SMWA, the city of Dresden, project partners as well as our direct neighbors at our grand opening.

Embedded in the historically landmarked premises, we now have not only our new high-tech laboratory with corresponding analytics, but also a new coating plant on a laboratory and
pilot scale for metallic sponges, as well as a state-of-the-art sintering furnace for metallic and ceramic materials.

As a development service provider for ceramic and metallic hollow spheres as well as metallic sponges, we are among the first companies worldwide to successfully put years of research into cellular metallic and ceramic materials into practice. As materials and process specialists, we have developed various technologies and processes for the new class of materials known as „cellular materials“ and offer custom product developments. We support our customers from the initial idea to the start of production of new products.

In the course of expansion, our hollomet team continues to grow.
